Hi, my name is Simon!

I’m a photographer and filmmaker born, raised & based in northern Sweden. My interest in photography, whether it’s still or moving, started well over a decade ago.
The interest was there before Instagram came into our lives, but it wasn’t until it did that I started exploring my creativity further. Years of hobby photography ensued as my passion for it grew stronger alongside it.

A childhood friend of mine shared the interest in still and moving photography, and by the age of 26 neither of us were really doing what we wanted in life, so we decided to re-saddle completely.
I turned down university, he quit pursuing his line of work, we put most of our savings into camera gear and a van - a van we converted into a camper and then explored, filmed and photographed southern Europe for half a year. It was a trip that made me grow as a person and photographer.

I’m heavily inspired by nature and that is where the majority of my photography takes place. Every now and then I venture out of the woods and into urban landscapes and I don’t mind it one bit! At the end of the day, what drives me is the urge to create, tell a story and convey a feeling that makes anyone watch it want to get out and make new memories.
